According to PSD2 regulations, a strong customer authentication must occur at least every 90 days – depending on the bank, it might be even more frequent. Unfortunately, the Outbank App has no control over how often a bank requires authentication.
As a workaround, you can exclude the affected account from general account refresh and/or group all accounts from the same bank into a single account group.
Exclude account from overall account refresh:
Some accounts require a two-factor authentication for every refresh, thus prolonging the update process. You can exclude these accounts from overall account refresh. They won't be automatically updated during app start an in the background, reducing the frequency of 2-factor-authentications.
Go to ‘Settings’ > 'Refresh Accounts' > Under 'Include in overall refresh', deactivate the switch next to the accounts you want to exclude.
Accounts excluded from the general refresh can still be manually updated anytime.
Reduce TAN request by grouping all accounts at the bank into an account group:
Simply group all accounts from one bank together in an account group. When you update this account group, only a single confirmation will be needed for the entire group:
' Settings' > 'Account Groups' > 'New Group' > 'Assign a Name' > Select all accounts of the bank'
