All bank credentials you store in Outbank are saved locally on your device in an encrypted (AES256) database. No bank credentials will be shared with or sent to us. Please note the following article: https://outbankapp.com/en/outbank-security/.
Delete local data on iOS, Android und Windows 11 / Amazon FireOS:
To remove all data from Outbank an iOS & Android, just delete the app on your iOS or Android device.
Delete local data on macOS:
Drag the app to the trash first. To delete the local Outbank database stored on your Mac follow these steps:
- Open the Finder.
- Click on ‘Go’ in the menu bar, press and hold the ‘alt’ key and select ‘Library’.
- Now you are in the ~/Library folder and can manually navigate to the subfolder Containers/com.stoegerit.outbank.osx/.
- Delete the folder com.stoegerit.outbank.osx.
Delete Outbank ID data:
If you create an Outbank ID, use Secure Sync, or contact our support team, data associated with your Outbank ID will be generated. You can export and delete them at: https://export.outbankapp.com/.
Please note:
We have no influence or insight on the bank details you manage or use. Nor do we have a way of saving them. Once you delete Outbank on your device, all data will be automatically removed.
If you want to use Outbank again, simply download the application from the App Store / Mac App Store / Google Play Store once more. You can then reconnect your bank accounts, online services and loyalty programs to Outbank.
