How can i edit existing Budgets on iOS or macOS?

All budgets are displayed in the 'Reports'section. Your budgets are grouped by budget period. Each budget group has its own reporting card.

In the budgets overview, you can see the progress of your budgets. With every new payment you make, the budget bar moves further to the rigtht side.

To edit an existing budget, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Reports > Select the Budget Card that entails the Budget you want to edit > Select the Budget.
  2. After selecting a budget, you will see all budget information in the detailed view. 
  3. To edit the details, choose 'Edit' on iOS and macOS or tap on the 'pen' icon on Android:
  4. Budget Icon: To change the budget icon, simply tap the selected icon at the top of the budget details > select a new icon to add
  5. Budget Name: You can change the individual name of your budget
  6. Budgeted Amount: Click on the amount in the amount line. Change the amount by entering the desired amount in the number field that appears.
  7. Recurrence: Select the interval at which the budget should be repeated.
  8. Categories  and  Tags: Click on 'Edit Categories' or 'Edit Tags' to add new tags or categories or to remove existing ones. Note that each budget must have at least one tag or category assigned.
  9. Accounts: Here you can exclude accounts and account groups from the budget.
  10. Notification: If you allow budget reminders, Outbank can inform you via push notification when a budget is running oout. You will receive a notification when 90% or 100% of a budgeted amount has been used for the selected interval.
