You have the following options to delete account groups:

'Settings' > 'Account Grouping' > Swipe left over the the group you want to delete

or

'Accounts' > tap on account and hold > remove from list via drag&drop

Accounts that are not assigned to a group are shown under 'My Accounts' at the top of the account list.
