Your bank credentials are securely stored in an encrypted database on your device. This also applies to any passwords or banking PINs that may be saved. No personal or confidential data will be transmitted to us or stored on servers.
Once the bank credentials are correctly stored in the app, you do not have to enter them again. Outbank will then update your account data such as balances and transactions at specific time intervals or during manual retrieval.
Storing your banking PIN within the app is optional, giving you the great advantage that you do not have to reenter it every time. If you do not want to, simply disable the switch "Save PIN on device" when setting up your account. You can always delete or update the banking PIN at any time in the settings.
You can find more detailed information about our entire security concept on our website and in this article.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) of the European Union, you also can delete or export your personal data stored at Outbank: https://export.outbankapp.com/.
